Lane has been on a journey to build the ultimate creative space for artists, musicians, producers, and engineers for over a decade.
He first fell in love with the studio in his hometown of Philadelphia, assisting legendary producer and engineer Jim Salamone at Cambridge Sound Studios. While studying Music Technology & Production at New York University, he broke into the jazz engineering world, running sessions for industry legends including trumpeter Dave Douglas at Josh Roseman's state-of-the-art studio, The Loove. He’s since run thousands of sessions at Moon, for a range of reputable clients such as Atlantic Records, Def Jam Records, and groundbreaking artists from Anohni to Dave Weckl, Sasha Velour, Tituss Burgess, and many more.
Lane rarely identifies as a purist, but "you can't beat the classics," and his deli favorite—an everything bagel toasted with regular cream cheese—is as classic as it gets.

Once collaging his room with sports pictures, Diego has moved on to apply his collage skills to the music world. When not at Moon, you can find him writing music for films and commercials, enabled by his obsession for synthesizers and music technology. In his free time, Diego writes electronic music with his artist duo Rotate, and can also be found playing basketball at various courts across NYC.
His go-to bagel order is Egg and cheese on a croissant or a healthy (3/4 lb.) slice of apple cake from nearby Syrena Bakery.

josh liebman

Josh has been in recording studios for nearly a decade, working at some of the best in the city including John Kilgore Sound and Recording, Studio G, and The Cutting Room. Outside of the studio Josh studied at NYU and received his Master’s of Music in Music technology, and his certification as a Tonmeister, combining the technical and creative skills of the artist, producer, and engineer. During his studies he learned cutting edge recording and production techniques, including working with immersive and 3D audio. Josh has brought this experience to Moon Studios as Chief Engineer.
From classical and hip hop, to films and podcasts, Josh has since had the privilege of working with amazing clients like Roseanne Cash, Norm Lewis, and Bowen Yang; and for companies like DreamWorks, HBO, and Mitú.
Josh is most at home in the studio working on large scale projects and recording ensembles, from indie bands, to string quartets and big bands.

Wil with one L claims Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as his hometown and has cut his teeth playing in and engineering DIY bands in both the Steel City and New York.
In addition to working at Moon and thumping the bass guitar in various acts, Wil can be found studying to earn his degree in Music Technology at NYU and searching for (or trying to make) the greatest cuppa joe in New York.
